We’re interested in pitches that address life in the climate crisis, especially sensory experiences. That includes the arts, environmental history, environmental anthropology, and the extractive industries.
Before you pitch, please take some time to read at least two or three articles we’ve published and consider how your proposed piece would fit.
Please include a written summary of your main idea, ideally 250 words or less. It should present your angle and sources.
We always pay writers and are guided by standard rates in the UK. As of June 2023, our pay rate for freelancers is 20p per word.
